Hecho a mano
Masa, salsas y guisos preparados frescos en nuestra cocina cada mañana.
Selbyville, Delaware
Tacos hechos a mano, salsas molcajeteadas y cocina de la costa. Family recipes and coastal soul, served in a room as colorful as the food.
Nuestra historia
We are a family kitchen that takes the long way around: nixtamalized corn, slow simmered guisos, and salsas ground fresh every day.
La Bahía Tacos began as a weekend stand at the Selbyville farmers market, run by the Marroquín family out of a single comal and a lot of stubborn love for the food they grew up with.
Today we are a full kitchen on Marisol Avenue, but the spirit has not changed. We still press our tortillas by hand, still simmer the birria low and slow, and still treat every guest like family who showed up hungry.
Our menu travels the coast, from Mexico City al pastor to Salvadoran pupusas and Nicaraguan gallo pinto. Different countries, one table, always welcome.
